01 / WHY

Your video calls have become critical infrastructure.

Yet they are rented from a vendor who owes you nothing, whose code you cannot read and whose location you cannot choose. That is not a legal detail, it is a dependency.

What you put up with

  • Your vendor answers to a legal system outside Europe.
  • The code is closed. Nothing can be verified.
  • The tool cannot be installed on your own infrastructure.
  • Pricing follows headcount, not actual usage.
  • No integration with the tools your teams already use.

What you get back

  • French vendor, hosting in the EU or on your own servers.
  • Core software under AGPL 3.0, auditable line by line.
  • Installable on your servers, or in a dedicated cloud.
  • Billed per host. Participants always unlimited.
  • API, BigBlueButton, Jitsi, Nextcloud, Moodle.
02 / THE TRAILER

One minute is enough.

This is the trailer, not a guided demo: a minute to see the interface, the tools and the pace of a meeting. The real demo is the button below.

04 / COMPARISON

Eight facts, sixteen sources.

We compare neither picture quality nor ease of use: those are settled by trying, not by a table. Only public characteristics, each with a link to the vendor's own documentation.

* The connector plugs any platform that already speaks BigBlueButton into your Vuisio rooms, such as Moodle, Greenlight or a school portal: a URL, a secret, no development. ** The API is for writing your own integration: an intranet, a registration portal, your own line-of-business applications. Each organisation gets its own credentials and never reaches another's rooms.

07 / QUESTIONS

What is holding you back.

Is the free plan really unlimited in duration?

Yes. Starter has no meeting time limit and no cap on participants. What sets the paid plans apart are the professional features, not permission to meet.

What happens after the 14-day trial?

Your account moves to Starter automatically. No card is requested when you sign up, so nothing can be charged by surprise, and you keep your rooms and your history.

Where is my data hosted?

Wherever you decide. Our own cloud runs on servers in France, operated by Scaleway: the IP address our service answers on belongs to a range registered in France at RIPE, which you can check yourself. If you would rather keep the data in your own country, Vuisio installs on your infrastructure, and nothing then goes through us at all.

What server does it take to host Vuisio?

It depends on the number of participants, and that is the only honest answer. Our tests show that a server with 1 GB of RAM and 2 cores carries about ten participants, on an Intel Atom C2338 at 1.74 GHz with no hyper-threading, no L3 cache and no modern vector instructions. A large meeting needs more: 6 vCPU carry 450 to 500 participants, with memory staying under 2 GB. For comparison, BigBlueButton and Jitsi ask for 8 GB and 4 cores before they will even start. The test protocol is published and reproducible.

Does voice anonymisation process biometric data?

No. The module applies an acoustic transformation to the audio stream as the server relays it. It computes no voiceprint, stores nothing and identifies nobody, so it is not a biometric processing operation under Article 9 of the GDPR.

Is Vuisio genuinely open source?

The core is published under AGPL 3.0, a licence approved by the Free Software Foundation. The public repository does not contain every module: some are distributed under a proprietary licence, and we would rather say so than let you find out.

Can I replace BigBlueButton without touching Moodle?

Yes. Our compatibility API accepts BigBlueButton calls, so a Moodle already configured for BBB points at Vuisio without any change on the LMS side.
